RESERVATION POLICIES

In order to offer quality services and ensure clear information regarding the terms and conditions of reservations made by guests, Hotel Casa Aura publishes the following reservation policy.

Room rates are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) and Lodging Tax (ISH) without exception.
The quoted rate guarantees occupancy only for the number of people quoted. If there are more occupants than contracted, an "additional person" charge will apply. This charge, along with any applicable taxes, will be determined by the hotel management and must be paid by each additional guest. To make a reservation at this hotel, you will need to provide basic personal information such as your name, phone number, and email address. This information will be protected by the comprehensive privacy notice published on the hotel's official website: www.hotelcasaaura.com. A credit card is required to complete the reservation process; no charge will be applied.
The hotel accepts VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS debit and credit cards, as well as cash, bank deposits, and bank transfers.
To confirm and guarantee your reservation, a deposit or bank transfer must be made to the hotel's account, covering the cost of the first night per room. Bank details can be requested by emailing the hotel directly.
If the reservation is not guaranteed, the hotel reserves the right to use the room after 6:00 PM on the day of arrival, without incurring any liability.

No responsibility for the hotel.

In case of a change of dates and/or number of people, the rate may vary depending on the season and the number of guests.
The reservation made at the hotel only covers the number of nights and people quoted.
Check-in time is 3:00 PM on the booked date.
Check-out time is 12:00 PM on the check-out date.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICIES

To ensure clarity and transparency in the provision of services to guests, Hotel Casa Aura publishes the following cancellation policy applicable to all reservations and stays booked directly with the hotel.

1. Cancellations of individual reservations made directly through the official website, by phone, or through any other official hotel channel.

a) To cancel a reservation without penalty, a written request must be submitted 48 hours prior to arrival at the hotel.

b) Reservation cancellations made outside the timeframe specified in section a) will incur a penalty. In such cases, the hotel reserves the right to retain all deposits made as a reservation guarantee, without the possibility of a refund.

c) In case of no-shows on the reservation date, the reservation will be subject to the same penalty as reservations canceled outside of the established timeframe.

d) Reservations made for the same day (last-minute reservations) are considered non-refundable, meaning they cannot be canceled, and therefore, any deposits made are non-refundable under any circumstances.

e) In all the preceding sections regarding cancellation fees, the guest will be responsible for the cost of the booked night(s), including applicable Mexican taxes levied by the federal, state, and municipal governments.

f) Should there be any changes to taxes imposed by the various levels of government within Mexico, the guest must adjust their rates accordingly, thereby releasing the hotel from any obligation to absorb commissions or new taxes mandated by law.

2. Cancellations of group reservations made directly through the official website, by telephone, or through any other official hotel channel.

The hotel defines a group reservation as one for 5 or more rooms, for one or more nights. Under this scenario:

a) To avoid penalty for any group reservation cancellation, the hotel must be notified 30 days prior to the group's arrival.

b) In the event of a group cancellation made outside the timeframe established in section a), a charge equal to the total cost of the nights' accommodation plus taxes will be applied as a no-show or cancellation fee.

c) Modifications due to a reduction in the number of rooms for a group will only be accepted without penalty up to 15 days prior to the group's arrival and must be reported directly to the hotel in writing to the sales manager or group executive during business hours and days for the cancellation of the reduced rooms to be considered effective.

d) In the event of a no-show for any room within the group, the group or the travel agency that contracted the service will be responsible for the full payment of the reserved nights plus taxes according to the contracted rate plan.

e) All policies established in the group reservation contract, which is signed individually at the time of service booking, will also apply. These clauses may be modified by said contract as the client deems appropriate.

3. Cancellations of reservations made through digital platforms, wholesale or retail travel agencies.

a) For reservations managed through online portals, whether directly or through third-party digital platforms, wholesale or retail travel agencies, the applicable cancellation policy will be that determined by the website where the guest completed the purchase transaction.

b) The hotel assumes no responsibility for the modification or cancellation of these reservations. Therefore, any penalty applied for cancellation or no-show will be that dictated by the platform or travel agency through which the service was contracted.
